You’ve got to be kidding me. (You don't back up to an external drive like everyone else?)
First of all, you don't make a backup of files on your operating system only to leave it on your operating system. You save it elsewhere.
That's the whole point of a "backup"... Only restore points should remain on your machine..
So.. Sorry for your files but...
It's very clearly stated in the
Uninstall/(Re)Install patch option, (Removes ALL TRACES of Kaspersky from your system).
Anything that has the name "
Kaspersky/AVP/kav" will be deleted. That’s why the patch changed its name from "Kaspersky" to "Kaspy."
Everything has been checked and rechecked, and it’s very reliable. But I was expecting someone like you sooner or later.
There’s always someone like you who comes trying to destroy what we do passionately and solely for others.
(I’ll repeat: I have no personal interest in making this patch. I don’t have this deactivation issue, nor do I earn a single cent from it.)
It's also clearly mentioned at the
BEGINNING of the tutorial to "
CREATE A RESTORE POINT IN CASE THERE IS A PROBLEM."
I think you rushed things and now you're just looking for someone to blame so you can vent your frustration.
I repeat: EVERYTHING has been
tested and retested over and over again on two competing virtual machines and on a real PC (my own PC).
As for everything you say was deleted — if it had the name "
Kaspersky/AVP/kav," then yes,
it's normal. As for license keys and such, if the word "
Kaspersky/AVP/kav" wasn't in the filename or content, the patch didn't touch them. The patch does nothing more than what it's supposed to do.
...And you say it doesn't work...
Did you (re)enable location services? (Because you shouldn't have to if everything works properly.)
Did you at least watch the videos?
It's impossible to know how the patch works, which keys and files have been modified. The patch is very large, with a large RAR archive (what's the point ?).
Every time I make a patch readable by everyone, I find my codes on other websites under different names, sometimes even used without any shame and directly copy-pasted here on forums, credited to others.
There's a reason for everything in life.
I've been making patches for 25 years — for PC, PS3, PS4 — and now I'm at it again with PS5, and it's always the same thing.
Now you understand why it's not readable?
You're not the first to be shocked by it, but also ask yourself how many hours of work were stolen from me to get to this point.
...And the
.RAR file contain
Kavremover,
Kaspersky Tweak Lite,
Desktop Runtime and
Kaspersky Installation
+ The
recovery data from the
.RAR file that WinRAR creates, which doubles the file size during compression, but makes the files more secure to prevent corruption... In other words, to be clear
, everything is 100% clean and reliable.
You would have known if you had followed the updates.
...Well... To conclude, Wondershare RecoverIt can restore your deleted files...
