Looks like there is no way to activate trial in Kaspersky Plus. I tried to create a new Kaspersky account but it still asked for activation code.

Maybe you can try it with Kaspersky Security Cloud license

Alright I sorted it out. I thought Kaspersky Plus is a successor to Kaspersky Internet Security. However, it turns out it's actually KIS -> K Standard. After inputting a trial code I found somewhere else it did work, hopefully KTA will work so I can have permatrial on this license code.
