You can disable self-protection when installing Kaspersky. Run the Kaspersky installation with the key SELFPROTECTION=0.

In other words please restart your windows in safe mode , then you can perform reset or license import / export using KTA and then again restart your windows in normal mode .

Could you add support for the free edition? I just installed the free edition and afterwards wanted to restore a backup activation. It said product not supported! I was able to restore the activation with another tool. But I like KTA better.

For KSOS I'm not limiting personally anything, its just for those I have to install and test and change in the KTA code to support them, but these days I'm not getting sufficient time for such testing yet.

It does NOT support KES 12.1.0.506.
It does support KSOS 21.13.5.506. You need a working key/backup installed to be able to restore a backup.
This is why I requested support for Kaspersky Free. Because the key for Free version works for 365 days. All you need is to add the free key to the basic/standard/plus version. Then afterwards, you can restore a backup and make it a Plus version. The only difference between Plus and Premium is the requirement of adding your key to an online account. But if the key is not yours, then the chance of getting the key blocked is very high, if you add it to too many accounts!
