I have 2 questions :
1- We have 90 days trial for ESS?
2- ESET refer to friends options disabled for you your region?

Trial reset still work in last version of EIS
No need to run in safe mode.
Just run with admin rights, choose trial and type temp email.
For temp email just google it.

I'm just wondering if one has to change trial registration email address each time, for my first renewal I did (and it works).
Anyone have experiences using the same email previously registered?

INSTRUCTIONS : CONNECT THE INTERNET....
1. Install the program

2. Activate with trial license

3. Stop the HIPS in eset settings

4. Reboot computer

5. Edit your hosts file by adding the following into hosts:

127.0.0.1 edf.eset.com

6. Extract the license.lf into your C Drive-->ProgramData-->ESET-->ESET SEcurity-->License Folder and paste the file and replace it and make it read only.

7. Restart the HIPS in eset

8. Add hosts file to Detection Exclusion lists in ESET Settings.

9. Reboot computer

10. Enjoy yourr eset product license valid until 21-11-2024

The EIS 90 day trial reset does not work with EIS version 15. It only works with EIS version 14.
However, the latest version of EIS is 15.
Does anyone have any solution on how to make it work on version 15? Has there been an update to the trial_reset.bat that would make it compatible with the new version?

I tested today!
Run it in safe mode
Go back to windows in normal mode and type new trial using a temp email.
Select Russia to get 90 days.
Some countries only give 30 days trial

Thanks, it works but the problem is that it reverts my ESET back to 14.
Sorry, I should have explained more clearly.
The problem is that after applying the trial reset file, my ESET version is not 15 anymore, its back to 14.

Thank you. I didn't use your file but I used Trial_reset_V5.
It even showed me an error saying that the version of the MSI is 14, but the installed version is 15.

Ok, so it appears that the issue might be somewhere else. When I click on "Help and support", I see that the version is 14.2, as shown below:





However, when I click on "About ESET Internet Security" (shown by blue arrow above), then it shows the version is 15:




Is this normal? It seems weird to me!

To be honest, I never liked this ESET bs. We have that in Thai on school computers.
Why not use Kaspersky and the activation tool? Just curious, not all members are familiar with safe mode.

Ok so I tried to use the file again, and this is the error that I am getting:



I think this error is incorrect. It should be the other way around: The installed version is 15.0, but the MSI version might be 14.
Can you please help me to resolve this?
Have you encountered this error before?

I guessed you are currently running an upgraded ESET product (from v14 to v15).
Try with clean install ESET v15

That is correct, I upgraded from V14 to V15.
If I backup my settings in V14 and restore them in V15, would that be Ok (or would it cause similar issues)?
I have many exclusions and whitelists that I need to transfer.

Hi, when I run the 90 day Trial Reset program, it gives me the following error and the installation terminates once I click on Ok:




My version of ESET is 15.0. I get the above error as soon as I run the program (after pressing any key on the CMD prompt). Can anyone please let me know why I get the above error?
